Today was a very awesome day, I was up at dawn hopped in my truck and drove to Lac-Sergent Canoe club to do two training sessions there. the first was quite hard and all the kids from the club tried their best to keep up with the group. it was inspiring having a contingent of kids following behind us the whole work-out. After the work out we interacted with the kids and parents. It is always an inspiration to have so many kids excited to see you and talk to you, a feeling I will never grow out of. We then headed to the cottage of my coach, for some BBQ before the second paddle. It was a long day, but well spent at a beautiful lake.
