On May 31-June 2 in Poznan, Poland, Ryan competed at World Cup 3 with Étienne Morneau; this was their first time racing together. During heats Ryan and Étienne had a solid time of 33.582 finishing first in their heat to move directly to the final. In the final they finished in the  top 9 and this was the first time Étienne competed in an A final at a World Cup event.
