During Canadian National Sprint Championships in Regina Ryan was able to take some time out to do some various other events that are listed throughout this post.  First up Ryan makes a mark on and off the water! He made this young athlete’s day with a shirt autograph.

ALS ice bucket Challenge
Ryan also, had time to take the ALS ice bucket challenge with Ben Russell; he then proceeded to nominate Connor Taras and Christopher Mehak both , which get 24hrs to accept and complete. Below is a video of the challenge from the facebook post:

Riders Game

At the Canadian Sprint Canoe Kayak Nationals in Regina after helping setup around the course Ryan and Jim got a nice treat in the form of CFL tickets. The donaters where more than happy to allow them to expeirence the game with the other 33,425 Rider fans at Mosaic. A big Thank you to the Reis family for the ticket donation and CKC Nationals 2014 Host Chair Chris Laplante and wife Teresa Laplante for helping get the actual tickets for Ryan and Jim. They made these two guys pretty happy!!!

Teresa had this to say about Ryan and Jims help: “ Since these two arrived in Regina they have been helping us out with preparations for the Canadian Sprint Canoekayak Championships Regina. We greatly appreciate it! We even had to kick them off the venue site so they would not be late for the game:)”
